Traditional Handstripping Service

Handstripping is a specialized grooming technique that removes hair without cutting or breaking it, using fingers or stripping knives and stripping stones can be used. This generates new layers of coat with a beautiful colour and texture quality.

Handstripping is suited to wiry or silky coats that do not lose their hair naturally (e.g. Terriers, Hounds and Gundogs). The frequency will depend on your breed and the desired look you wish to achieve.
